My Story

Hey everyone. 

I'm Kerry, and I am the heart and soul behind Shooting Star Creations. I am a mother of 2 children, and 2 cats, and I live with them and my partner on the beautiful Isle of Wight. I have spent the last 20 years (and my 18yr old son's entire childhood) working as a nurse/care home manager. Now I have a 2yr old daughter, and I have decided to take a break from my career to pursue my art, and work from home so I can be more present with her (and hopefully baby number 3 some time next year). I specialise in keepsakes because I like to feel that even though I am no longer nursing, I am still making a difference, and supporting people through challenging times in their lives. Either when suffering a bereavement, or celebrating the emotional roller coaster that is breastfeeding a baby. 

I am also a neurodivergent board game geek, so you will find lots of nerdy accessories here too. I like to ensure that EVERYBODY feels welcome to express their true selves on my socials and in direct messages with me, so never feel afraid to reach out.
